I’m Nicole, the Colourist at Hawthorn Hair & Beauty.
I’ve been working within the industry since leaving school at the age of 16. I started my career as an apprentice at a local salon, progressing into self employment as a fully qualified hairdresser at 18 years old.
My dream was to open my very own salon alongside my mum, who had been in the beauty industry for many years. Fast forward 5 years and a few Covid lockdowns... Hawthorn Hair & Beauty was born!
I love a lived-in balayage and an impactful blonde, and over the years niched down to specialise in those techniques.

Carean - Beauty Therapist
Hi everyone 👋🏼
I’m Carean, the beauty therapist at Hawthorn Hair & Beauty!
I first started my beauty business in 2004 working from a room in my house with a client base of mainly friends and family.
Helping people feel good mentally and physically is a strong passion of mine, this lead me to specialise in Facials & Holistic Therapy.
My goal too was to open a salon alongside my daughter and we are very gratful to each of our clients who made it possible.
I LOVE spending time with all my family and I’m the happiest by the sea with a cocktail in hand!
